Sierra Kelleher

I am studying Sociology with a concentration in Science & Medicine, and a minor in Healthcare-Social Issues at the University of California, San Diego. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I took an early interest in healthcare work and the social sciences after exposure to the inequities in access and treatment locally as well as abroad. For the first two years as a college student, I volunteered for Alliance San Diego, a local non-profit organization, conducting resident surveys and working towards improving the county’s infrastructure. Most recently, I worked for the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research studying the effects of COVID-19 on remote versus in-person work. I am grateful and enthusiastic to be working with such a qualified and seasoned team at ICEC, and ready to absorb this experience working in close proximity with experts in their respective fields.
