Sierra Kelleher

Sierra is ICEC’s Special Projects and Communications coordinator for the International Cancer Expert Corps in their Washington, D.C. office. As an intern for ICEC in the Fall of 2022, she pursued her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a concentration in Science and Medicine, and a minor in Healthcare and Social Issues at the University of California, San Diego. After interning in Washington, she worked part-time for ICEC until transitioning to a full-time position in September of 2023.

Sierra also serves as ICEC’s Internship Supervisor.

Prior to her time with ICEC, Sierra worked for the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research (ISR), the Equity Alliance of San Diego County, and CALPIRG of UC San Diego. With a background in cancer advocacy and healthcare, she is passionate about ICEC’s mission and vision and shares the organization’s core values working to improve sustainable and globalized cancer care.
