Sierra Kelleher

Sierra Kelleher is a Special Projects and Communications coordinator and Internship Supervisor for the International Cancer Expert Corps, based in their Washington, D.C. office. She interned for ICEC in the Fall of 2022 while pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego in Sociology with a concentration in Science and Medicine as well as a minor in Healthcare and Social Issues. Post-internship, she maintained a part-time role until completing her degree and moving to a full-time position in September of 2023.

Currently, Sierra is a graduate student at the George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health, expected to graduate in the Spring of 2027 with a Master’s in Health Administration.

Prior to ICEC, Sierra worked for the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research (ISR), the Equity Alliance of San Diego County, and CALPIRG at UC San Diego. With a background in cancer advocacy and healthcare, she is passionate about ICEC’s mission and vision and shares the organization’s core values working to improve sustainable and globalized cancer care.
