Are you a cancer professional (MD, Physicist, Dosimetrist, Oncology Nurse, etc.) in a challenging region who wants the help of an ICEC Expert to provide professional mentoring to advance your knowledge of treating cancer?

The Centers and Associates Committee is responsible for establishing standards for the operations of ICEC Centers and Associates. To improve ICEC operations in ICEC Centers, the Committee, through its oversight, will make recommendations to Centers through a continuing evaluation and monitoring process. The Committee reviews applications to become a designated ICEC Center taking into consideration the applicant’s interest, existing standards of care to citizens in the immediate geographic region, interest in improving and delivering the highest quality of cancer care possible for the region, and expanding the reach of ICEC efforts in their region worldwide.

Progress using metrics are essential to guide ongoing development. Guidelines and standards for the Centers will be developed and assessed by the Centers and Associates Committee while those for the Associates will be done in conjunction with the Career Path Working Group.

The Committee will advise the Scientific Committee and Board of Directors as to which new Centers to consider on the growing needs of ICEC mentorship. The Committee will assess the progress of the Expert Panels and recommend changes/modifications.
