Members of the Hub Committee are committed to ensure that ICEC designated Hubs are selected based on demonstrated leadership and commitment to serving lower- and middle-income countries and/or the underserved regions in developed countries, and have agreed to work with ICEC Centers and Associates. The Committee is responsible for the oversight of the ICEC Hubs ensuring that ICEC procedures are followed within the Hubs and that Hubs will deliver advice and guidance to improve the delivery of cancer care, e.g., imaging, pathology, information technology, education, etc., appropriate to the ICEC Centers’ regions.
The Committee will advise the Scientific Committee and Board of Directors as to which new Hubs to form based on the growing needs of ICEC mentorship. The Committee will assess the progress of the Hubs and recommend changes/modifications.
