Alex Nguyen

I am studying international relations and looking forward to contributing to the ICEC to improve access to cancer care to the world. I attend the University of California, Irvine, and am eager to learn and gain experiences from the leadership and staffs of ICEC who have years of experiences working in this field. I am excited to be an ICEC intern as it allows me the opportunity to broaden my perspective on the works of non-governmental organizations and global health. It is important to address problems and help implement solutions for low- and middle-income countries in order to improve the lives of individuals with cancer while enriching communities. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of ICEC to advance a better world for the current era and the future generations.
