Current Position and Activities:
Dr. Sherertz is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at UCSF who specializes in the treatment of breast and gynecological cancers. She is devoted to improving global cancer care through education. During residency she received the American Society of Radiation Oncology Global Health Scholar Award to teach oncology to medical trainees in Cambodia. She is currently working with a team of international oncologists to improve oncology education and brachytherapy training in Southeast Asia.
